This 2D platformer game will give you the chance to learn about climate change through the point of view of people fighting against climate change and animals affected by it. Its immersive, pixel environment will let you see the impacts of corporate greed and explore endangered species’ habitats destroyed by a variety of disasters caused by human activities. Use the gift of the forest to perform melee attacks and navigate the terrain. Make unexpected friends, and encounter powerful enemies. Find out what’s truly going on, and who you are. Most importantly, learn how you can change the story and turn climate doomerism into climate action.

Post-Launch Goals:

1. Add the boss fight to the game (including music)
2. Add additional cutscenes accompanying the boss fight

5. Fix noticeable issues in the game

Update #1

• Polished combat: now the enemies will pause when hit, attack reach is longer, and there's particle effects to enhance feedback of hitting an enemy.
• Fixed cursor not appearing in end menu issue.

As for further expansions:

Our original vision had 4 levels featuring different areas, with many more characters, mechanics, and enemies. The existing content is only the first level. We are not sure if we will be fulfilling the vision in the foreseeable future, if any more content is to be added, they will start with smaller features.
